Technology Voucher Programme (TVP)
The Technology Voucher Programme (TVP) stopped accepting new applications after 31 December 2024.
This page summarises what TVP covered, what existing applicants still need to do, and what SMEs can consider next under the enhanced DTSPP.
Three things to know.
What was TVP?
TVP funded SMEs to adopt technology services on a 3:1 matching basis, up to HK$600,000. Applicants had to contribute at least 25% of the project cost in cash, with a maximum of six approved projects per company.
Eligible spending covered websites, systems, automation and payment solutions to raise productivity.
Can I still apply?
No. The Innovation and Technology Commission announced on 13 December 2024 that TVP would stop accepting new applications after 31 December 2024.
Companies that already applied must still complete the project, submit the final report and undergo audit, with forms provided by HKPC.
What comes next?
The government launched and is enhancing the Digital Transformation Support Pilot Programme (DTSPP), a 1:1 matching scheme for retail, F&B and other SMEs, with the enhanced version extending to AI and cybersecurity solutions.
Eligibility, funding amounts and timelines follow official announcements. Prepare by documenting process pain points and existing systems.
